The Ghanaian government has vowed to remake the crushed piece of the Nigerian High Commission building.

Review that some furnished men attacked the office a week ago and crushed the structure which was as yet under development and implied for Nigerian High Commission staff.

Addressing writers on Thursday June 25, Ghana's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Mrs Shirley Ayokor Botchewey said the crushed structure will be reestablished to its unique state.

Botchewey further uncovered that Nigeria paid for the land 20 years back despite the fact that the High Commission couldn't deliver the rent, land title authentication and building license of the land. She revealed that a board of trustees comprising of authorities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ghana Police Service, National Security, and the Lands Commission had been established to explore the unlawful destruction of the structure, while additionally encouraging that the legislature of Ghana would effectively connect with the Nigeria government at the most significant level, to address the stalemate and help quiet strains in the two nations.

The Minister said;

"The Land Commission will in the past illuminate the Osu Traditional Council that in August 2000, offer was made to High Commission of Nigeria, independent of the title of land being referred to.

"The offer was acknowledged by the High Commission and installment was made appropriately that comprised an agreement.

"The Land Commission will continue to give a Land Certificate to the High Commission of Nigeria, to regularize it's responsibility for property being referred to.

"Ghana will find a way to draw in the Osu stool and all partners on the stalemate.

"Ghana will guarantee that the wrecked structure is reestablished to its unique state as quickly as time permits.

"The High Commission of Nigeria will find a way to acquire building grant for the development."
